ABOUT US

Mike Griffin founded Bad Boys Open Volleyball in 1999 as a fundraiser charity tournament. Over the past 21 years, the tournament has grown in the Pacific Northwest drawing players from throughout the region. And throughout the years, BBO and our participants have donated proceeds from the event to charities such as The Children's Cancer Association, Wounded Warrior Project, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Portland, Mauli Ola Foundation, PPB Sunshine Division and The Oregon Food Bank.

In 2016 Bad Boys Open Volleyball was hired as the Tournament Director for the Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournament in Seaside, Oregon. The event is held on the 2nd weekend of August and draws more than 1600 teams over four days on more than 185 courts with over 4400 matches scheduled.

Our goal is to grow the sport of volleyball through competition, community, friendship and organization. Tournaments, Camps and Clinics will connect us all as Ohana.

Bad Boys Open Volleyball is a grassroots outdoor and indoor volleyball organization in the United States of America.
